Curative would like to recognize and thank Dr. Tyler Evans, MD, MS, MPH, AAHIVS, DTM&H, FIDSA, for his contributions as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Curative Medical Associates. Dr. Evans came to Curative Medical Associates from the Marin County Health and Human Services Agency, serving as the Deputy Public Health Officer. Dr. Evans specializes in infectious disease, tropical medicine, public health, and primary care.
Dr. Evans led our health equity initiatives and ensured that vaccine distribution was equitable. Curative piloted mobile testing and vaccination vans to reach rural and underserved populations. These vans helped meet the needs of communities across the United States, including in Flint, Michigan, Springfield, Massachusetts, and Laredo, Texas. Curative partnered with community-based organizations to build confidence and trust, which ensured the success of our programs.
Dr. Evans’ guidance as we navigated the COVID-19 pandemic and faced unforeseen challenges was invaluable. We wish him all of the best in his future endeavors and are confident that he will continue to positively impact the lives of many.
